Join us at The Fountains for a fun book signing event with Jill Wallace. Jill is a local award-winning author of historical fiction, set in South Africa in the 20th century. Jill has lead an “untamed, unexpected and unforgettable” life as she puts it and will be delighting us with her stories. So come and enjoy each other’s company with tea and finger foods as we hear more about Jill’s life and her works. Copies of her books will be available for purchase and we will also be doing a book giveaway!
Jill Wallace was brought up in South Africa, and has lived the second half of her life in America. She often compares herself to the African baobab with roots that look like branches. Like the confused ‘Upside Down Tree’ she no longer knows where the South African ends and the American begins.Please
