60 DAY GUARANTEE
We are confident that you will love your new home. So confident that we have agreed to provide the Kisco Confidence™ Satisfaction Guarantee. The Kisco Confidence™ Satisfaction Guarantee program provides for a refund of your Community Fee and applicable Monthly Service Fees. Terms and Conditions are as follows:
Independent Living Residents
- If you are not completely satisfied with your experience at a Kisco Community, for any reason, you may give us written notice that you wish to terminate the Residence and Services Agreement, move out and receive your Kisco Confidence™ Satisfaction Guarantee refund
- You must provide written notice to the Resident Relations Director or Executive Director within 45 days after your move in date at your community
- The Kisco Confidence™ Satisfaction Guarantee refund expires if you do not provide the required notice within 45 days after your move in date
- You will then be responsible for moving out of your residence by the date that is 60 days after your move in date
- You will be responsible for any costs associated with moving out
- If you do not vacate your residence by the aforementioned date, you will be responsible for paying all Monthly Service Fees for all time periods after this date, and these amounts will not be refunded except in accordance with the Residence and Services Agreement
- Within thirty (30) days of the date you vacate your residence, we will issue a refund to you or your designated beneficiary, if you have a Beneficiary Designation Form on file with us
- The refund will be calculated as follows:
- Your Community Fee; PLUS applicable Monthly Service Fees for the time you occupied your residence, up to a total of no more than sixty (60) days from move in; LESS a cleaning and sanitation fee of $1,500, so that we can ready the residence for the next resident, and any amount necessary to repair damage caused by you to the residence, ordinary wear and tear excepted, provided that this amount plus the sanitation fee shall be capped and will not exceed the Community Fee plus the applicable Monthly Service Fees refund
- The following fees and charges are not included in the Kisco Confidence™ Satisfaction Guarantee and will not be refunded:
- Any charges for assisted living or memory care services (including charges for levels of care), even if such charges are otherwise included in the Monthly Service Fees
- Any personal charges, such as salon fees, personal care items, extra housekeeping or extra laundry charges, parking or transportation charges, or other charges you choose to incur
- Any extra dining charges, such as guest meals, alcohol purchases, or in-room meal service
- Any Monthly Service Fees that you incur if you do not vacate the residence by the date that is sixty (60) days from move in
- To the extent these Terms & Conditions are contrary to the Residence and Services Agreement, these Terms & Conditions will control, otherwise, the Residence and Services Agreement remains in full force and effect
